When was the last
time you felt alive? Like really alive. I’m not talking about a compromised
version of yourself like feeling content or in a state of okay-ness. I mean
like when was the last time you felt so alive that you jumped in a pool with
your clothes on, smiled while brushing your teeth, laughed to yourself on the
subway, became a pop-superstar in front of the mirror in only your underwear, smiled
to everyone while walking to work or laid in a grassy field and realized that
right here, right now is the best
time of my life?
Life is too short to be
anything but happy and you did not wake up this morning to be mediocre. I like
the thought of creating a life that you don’t have
to take a vacation from, but for the
past few years,
I’ve found myself stuck living in this weird blur between what my life
should be and what it is – and I want that to change.
When I
see pictures of best friends hanging out, having bonfires on the beach, going
on hikes, camping under the stars, or riding an inflatable pink flamingo in
some ocean or getting those milkshakes with 5 donuts on top, like I want that
life too; not sitting in a grey cubicle for 8 hours, every day, for the
rest of my life. When I see
those pictures, something happens to me. I feel happy. I feel calm. I feel
excited. I feel alive.
They say happiness
isn’t a destination, but a mindset, so I want whatsuplife to be a mindset. A
mindset of freedom, fun, taking risks, becoming comfortable being
uncomfortable, helping others, but most importantly – completely falling
in love with life again. My mission is to live an unforgettable life and my
passion is for you to do the same.
I hope you join me on
this journey and I really can’t wait
to see what’s up with your life.
Let’s do this.
